1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Rentoria, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, please discontinue use of the platform immediately.

2. About the Platform

Rentoria is an online property listing platform designed to connect property owners with prospective tenants in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities of Uttar Pradesh, India. We are a neutral listing service — we do not act as a real estate agent, broker, or party to any rental transaction.

All rental agreements, payments, and negotiations are solely between the property owner and the tenant. Rentoria is not responsible for any transaction, dispute, or outcome arising from such interactions.

3. Listing Guidelines for Property Owners

By submitting a property listing, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information about your property.
  • Only list properties you own or are legally authorised to rent out.
  • Not submit duplicate, misleading, or fraudulent listings.
  • Upload only genuine photos of the actual property.
  • Keep your contact information current so tenants can reach you.
  • Not post any content that is illegal, offensive, or violates third-party rights.

Rentoria reserves the right to reject, edit, or remove any listing at its sole discretion, including listings that violate these guidelines or are reported by users.

4. Tenant Responsibilities

As a tenant using Rentoria, you agree to:

  • Use the platform only to find genuine rental accommodation.
  • Contact owners respectfully and in good faith.
  • Verify all property details, terms, and conditions directly with the owner before making any payment or commitment.
  • Not misuse contact information obtained through the platform.

5. No Guarantee of Accuracy

While Rentoria reviews all listings before publishing, we do not independently verify every detail provided by property owners. Rentoria makes no warranty — express or implied — regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any listing.

Always visit the property in person and confirm all terms directly with the owner before making any payment or signing any agreement.

6. Verification Plans & Payments

Rentoria offers three listing plans:

  • Basic Listing (Free): Standard review with 7-day visibility after admin approval.
  • Online Verified (Paid): 30-day visibility with a remote verification badge.
  • Physical Verified (Paid): 90-day visibility with an on-site verification badge for maximum tenant trust.

Current plan pricing is displayed on the listing submission page and may vary by city. Payments for paid plans are non-refundable once the listing has been reviewed and approved. If your listing is rejected before approval, please contact us at hello@rentoria.co.in to discuss your case.

7. Prohibited Activities

You must not use Rentoria to:

  • Submit fraudulent, scam, or fake property listings.
  • Collect personal data of other users for unauthorized purposes.
  • Attempt to hack, scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the platform.
  • Impersonate any person or entity.
  • Spread spam, malware, or unsolicited commercial messages.
  • List properties involved in illegal activity.

Violations may result in immediate removal of your listings and permanent account suspension.

8. Content & Intellectual Property

By uploading photos or other content to Rentoria, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and use that content solely for the purpose of operating the platform. You retain ownership of all content you upload.

All other content on Rentoria — including the brand name, logo, design, and software — is the exclusive property of Rentoria and may not be reproduced or used without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rentoria shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

  • Inaccurate information in a property listing.
  • Any rental dispute between an owner and a tenant.
  • Financial loss resulting from a transaction made through contacts found on the platform.
  • Temporary unavailability of the platform.

10. Privacy

Your use of Rentoria is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

11. Changes to These Terms

Rentoria reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via a notice on the platform. Continued use of Rentoria after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of this platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh.
